Margene Nereim

BORN: March 11, 1946

DIED: April 6, 2011

LOCATION: Slater, Iowa

Margene Ann Nereim, 65, formerly of Slater, died April 6 in Harlan. Funeral services are 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 12 at Adams Funeral Home. Visitation is one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Roland Cemetery.

Margene was born March 11, 1946 in Slater to Alfred and Bernetta (Kallem) Nereim. She grew up in Slater where she attended school. She enjoyed going to Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

Margene is survived by her sister, Vivian (Arnold) Larson; many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Charlotte and Arlene; and two brothers, Daryl and Donald.

Memorials may be made to Riverside Lutheran Bible Camp, Ames Animal Shelter and Heartland Senior Center.
