DIED: May 10, 2011
LOCATION: Nevada,, Iowa

Lucille Ellen DeFore, 93, of Ames, passed away May 10, 2011 at Rolling Green Village, Nevada. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Monday, May 16 at Adams Funeral Home. Visitation is one hour prior to the service.

Lucille was born December 22, 1917 in Ames, on a farm in the area now known as "Top-O-Hollow," to Charles and Anna (Craun) DeFore. She worked for many years at ISU Printing Services. As a life-long member of First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, she spent countless hours serving, especially in the nursery. She also served faithfully for many service organizations.

She is survived by her sister, Mary Offenstein; brother, John DeFore, and a host of nieces and nephews.
