Russell Skei

BORN: June 15, 1948

DIED: February 15, 2012

LOCATION: Ames, Iowa

Russ was born in Ames June 15, 1948 to John and Gladys (Swenson) Skei. He was a maintenance worker at the Memorial Union at ISU and he was a finish carpenter. He enjoyed bowling, playing pool, skating, cribbage, fishing and coin collecting. He was a member of the American Legion and the Sons of Norway.

Russ is survived by his daughters, Mindy (Matt) Farmer, Amanda (Tom) DeMoss and Tina Skei; grandchildren, Ashleigh, Evan, Madysen, Joslynn, Morgan and Lucas; brother, David (Susan) Skei; and nieces, Kelli (Bob) Watson, Shannon (William) Chieves and Tasha Skei.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
