"Pat" Arthur Matheason, 88 passed away on June 29, 2012 at Abbington on Grand, Ames, Iowa.

Pat was born March 8, 1924 in Story City, IA to Albert and Gladys (Clayberg) Matheason. He married Dorthy I. Burnett on August 15, 1948. A lifetime resident of Story City, he worked as a truck driver. Pat enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, watching baseball (Cubs), camping and playing cards.

Pat is survived by daughters: Ann Lovig (Ron), Story City; Alice Berkley, Maine; Linda (Doug) Dobson, Colo; Cheryl Westvold, Naples, Florida; 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; 1 sister: Florence Furman, Story City; 2 brothers: Charles Matheason and Jerry Matheason of Story City. Preceded in death by: his parents, wife, 1 daughter: Jeanie Hopkins, 1 sister, Dorothy, and 2 brothers: Kenneth and Albert Eugene Matheason.
