Mrs. Ralph Ball, 78, Nevada, died
Mrs. Ralph Ball (Hallie Tryphene Byerly) Ball, 78, Nevada, died about 3:50 a.m. at Story County Hospital today. She had been ill about three weeks.
Born January 14, 1883 at Altoona, the daughter of William and Lula Byerly, she had been a resident of Nevada for 41 years. She was married to Ralph E. Ball at Marshalltown June 15, 1901. She is a member of the Nevada Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband, two sons, William and Stanley, both of Nevada; three daughters, Bertha of Toledo, Ohio; Mrs. Gertrude Bastion of Victor, and Mrs. Calista Adams of North Bend, Ore., four brothers, Ray of Altedena, Calif.; Dr. T. D. Byerly of Washington, D.C.; Charles of Evansdale and Henry of Stanley, and one sister, Mrs. Will Gilgen of Melbourne.
Funeral services will be held fromt the Ryan Funeral Home, Nevada, Saturday at 2 p.m., the Rev. W. R. Tuttle officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.
