Maxwell Tribune: ....F. W. Hill and family returned from Mechanicsville, Wednesday, where they had been attending the funeral of Mr. Hill's sister, Mrs. John Fleming....

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: F. W. Hill was Frank W. Hill, born in Mechanicsville, Cedar County, Iowa to Benjamin W. Hill and Margaret (Young) Hill. He was married to Delila (Lockwood) Hill on 6 September 1881 in Anamosa, Jones County, Iowa and they established a dry goods business in Maxwell, Story County, Iowa as early as 1885. The deceased, Emma C. Hill, married John I. Fleming 10 August 1885 in Vinton, Benton County, Iowa. She is buried in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Pioneer Twp., Cedar County, Iowa. According to WPA Records, she was born 10 November 1860 and died 20 June 1897.
