The body of John P. Hanson was found suspended to a tree last week, three miles from Columbus Junction. The remains had the appearance of having been there one or two months. The eyes were entirely gone and one ear had bee eaten off, it is supposed by mice. Hanson formerly lived in Mercer county, Ill., and was separated from his wife, and has been for some time of unsound mind. It is supposed he committed suicide.--Register.
