DIED.

In Sherman township, Story county, Iowa, December 22d, 1877, Mrs. Mary Lovina Fenton, in the 44th year of her age.

Mrs. Fenton was a resident of Linn county, Kansas, and was visiting her children in Sherman township when the fell destroyer, death, called her away. She leaves four daughters and one son to mourn her loss. Her funeral was attended at the Johnson Grove School House. Sermon preached by Rev. Long from Colo. Text, Prov., 8th chap., 4th verse. M. E. D.
