Mr. Geo. A. Roberts, a young man from Dunkirk, N. Y., committed suicide at the residence of his brother-in-law, Mr. Homer Hall, in Marshalltown, last week. He had just engaged to teach school in Tama City, and was going to start the next day to commence his school. Derangement, induced by over study, is supposed to have been the cause of the rash act.
