Henry Funk, Jr., received a letter from his brother in Morris county, Kansas, informing him of the death of his father, Henry Funk, Sr., on the 25th of April, of paralysis. Aged 87 years. Prior to Mr. Funk's removal to Kansas, he was a resident of Indian Creek township for over 17 years, and will be remembered as one of our most honest, upright and respected citizens. "Peace to his ashes."

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Henry Funk, Sr. is buried in the White City Cemetery, White City, Morris County, Kansas as is his son, David Funk.
