Mrs. Fannie Heggen, 88, 1017 Duff Avenue, Ames, died Modnay evening, Oct 30, 1972, at the Riverside Manor in Ames. she was born Feb 25, 1884 at Ellsworth, Ill., and came to the Ames area with her family in 1890. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Ames. She was married June 3, 1913, to Theodore B. Heggen at Carroll. Survivors include her husband, Theodore B. Heggen, Sr.; two sons, Theodore B. Heggen, Jr., Ames and Donald Heggen, Des Moines; two sisters, Mrs. Fay Worley, Lexington, Ill., and Mrs. Beulah Corl, Boone; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two infant children and two sisters. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov 1 at 1:30 p.m., at the Adams Funeral Home in Ames, with Rev. William F. Overhulser officiating. Burial will be in the Ames Municipal Cemetery. Friends may begin calling at the funeral home, Tuesday evening until time of the services.
