Ames Times: ....Mrs. Hannah Wild Carey, died in the early morning hours last Tuesday at the residence of Mrs. E. A. Little in this city....

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Hannah Wild was the daughter of Christian Louis "Louis" Wild and Julia (Minker) Wild. She married Frank Emery Cary on 26 February 1890 in Sauk County, Wisconsin. Mary was born on 21 March 1867 in Wisconsin and died 15 May 1900 in Ames, Story County, Iowa. Hannah and both her parents, are buried in the Walnut Hill Cemetery (Baraboo Cemetery), Baraboo, Sauk County, Wisconsin.

In the 1900 Ames, Story County, Iowa census, Frank Wild (now a widower), is still living with the Mary A. Little family in Ames. Mary Ann (Lawton) Little married Ely S. Little on 30 May 1865 in Whiteside County, Illinois. Ely was a hotel keeper in Ames and had died 21 March 1891.
