From Story County Watchman October 4, 1906

Mr. and Mrs. Robert McIntosh's 13-year-old daughter, Marie, died Saturday morning at 7 o'clock. Her death was caused from spinal menenigitis. The funeral was held on Monday afternoon conducted by Rev. O Simon.
