S. T. Boster was born near Charleston, Lee county, Iowa, March 8, 1852 and died in Maxwell, July 19, 1905, aged fifty-three years, four months and eleven days. He was married in Wapello county, September 7, 1873 to Sarah Ingram. To this union nine children were born, four sons and four daughters together with Mrs. Boster survive him, while one son preceded him to the spirit land.

Obituary

S. T. Boster was born near Charleston, Lee county, Iowa March 8, 1852, and died in Maxwell, July 19, 1905 aged 53 years, 4 month and 11 days. He was married in Wapello county Sept. 7, 1873 to Sarah Ingram. To this union 9 children were born, 4 sons and 4 daughters together with Mrs. Boster survive him while one son preceded him to the spirit world. The deceased is also survived by 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Mr. and Mrs. Boster came to Story County near Zearing, Feb. 19, 1878, and have lived in this county every since.

They moved to Maxwell last spring and during their stay here have made many friends.

Deceased united with the M. E. Church when he was 21 years old and has lived a consistent christian life ever since.

The Funeral was in charge of Revs Jackson Giddens J. D. Sparke. Interment was in Nevada cemetery.

Mr. Boster was a kind and indulgent husband and father and a good accommodating neighbor and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Mr. Boster has been in rather poor health for some time but nothing serious was thought of it until the last two or three weeks when other complication set in which resulted in dropsy and to this disease he succumbed.
