Obituary - Lena Morse.

On Friday evening at ten o'clock, Lena, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Morse passed away after an illness of a week.

An operation for appendicitis was performed the Sunday before and the conditions for recovery were not hopeful from the first.

Miss Lena was one of Nevada's most promising young girls. She was but seventeen years of age and graduated from our high school about a month ago, a bright pupil and possessing health and happiness that endeared her to all and made her among the first in all things.

Her death will be mourned by many personal and family friends and is the first break into the Morse family.

The funeral services were conducted at the house at three o'clock on Sunday afternoon by Rev. Sanford assisted by Rev. Nye. High school friends were pall bearers, the girls of her own class acting a honorary ones.

The floral remembrances were many and beautiful and a large attendance at the funeral expressed the sympathy of many friends.
