Wednesday of last week the two year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Cox, living one and a half miles north west of Gilbert, was taken very ill and as its condition continued to grow worse Thursday, medical aid was summoned. Eating poisonous grasses was found to be the cause of the child's illness. The doctor succeeded in over coming the effects of the poison, though severe inflammation of the bowels followed and the child died Saturday.
