Mrs. M. J. Selby died Sunday morning after a lingering illness from cancer. She has been a resident of Ames for many years and leaves four daughters to mourn her loss. The last rites were held Monday afternoon from the Methodist church under the ministration of Rev. Shea. She was a member of the Eastern Star whose members had charge of the rites at the last hour.
