From Story County Watchman January 20, 1905

Herman Nordstrom, an old and highly respected citizen, residing west of the college, died Tuesday morning. He went to bed Monday night in his usual health. Not awakening n the morning, his wife made an attempt to arouse him from his slumbers and was horrified to find that he was dead.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: According to WPA Records, Herman Nordstrom was buried in the Ontario Cemetery, Story County, Iowa.
