The little Mailand baby, Mrs. T. N. Bouge has had the care of since it's mother's death last spring, died last Friday morning with hooping cough.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: The "Mailand baby" was the child of Samson J. Maland and Margaretha Olena (Nernes) Maland. "Mrs. T. N. Bouge" was Martha (Nernes) Bauge, wife of Thor N. Bauge. Martha Nernes and Margaretha Olena "Lena" Nernes were sisters, daughters of Ole Olson Nernes and Margaretha (Torsdotter) Nernes. The baby was being cared for by it's maternal aunt.
