From Story County Watchman July 15, 1904

Mrs. Christina Jones died at the residence of her parents just north of the city Saturday and the last rites were held on Sunday afternoon at the Lutheran church, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Nevada cemetery. She leaves a little girl which will be cared for by her parents.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Christina (Larson) Jones was the daughter of John Larson and Mary (Nelson) Larson of Nevada, Story County, Iowa. In the 1910 Story County census, their granddaughter, Irene Jones born ca. 1902, is living with them.
