Ontario.
Elder Wright preached the funeral sermon of Mr. Henry Cameron to a large audience Saturday, the 18. Mr. Cameron was an old soldier. The G. A. R.'s held the service at the grave.
In the same paper:
Ames, Juue 21--This community has again suffered the loss of one of its old and highly respected citizens, a pioneer and a soldier of two wars, Henry C. Cameron, a resident of Zenorsville passed away Thursday and was buried in the Ontario cemetery Saturday afternoon. It was not a surprise to his many friends as he has not been in good health for a number of months. He served his country in two wars, the Mexican war and the Civil war. The moving of Henry Cameron from this county leaves but one Mexican soldier in Story county, that of S. P. O'Brien, of this city.
