Nel Omundson
Story City -- Funeral services for Nels Omundson were held in St. Petri Lutheran Church April 16 with the Rev. Ivar Havneros officiating. Music was furnished by Kenneth Peterson and Joel Ose.

Burial was in Mamreland Cemetery east of Randall. Pall bearers were Lester Swenson, Gifford Erickson, Jack Sandvig, Edgar Ose, Elmer Omundson and Magnus Omundson.

Nels Olaf Omundson was forn Dec. 9, 1882, in Hamilton County and died at Story City Memorial Hospital April 13, where he had been a patient for two weeks.

Nels lived in Story and Hamilton Counties most of his life. Since 1927, he had made his home with his sister, Mrs. Anna Olson, in Story City. He was baptized and confirmed in St. Petri Lutheran Church.

He is survived by two sisters and a brother: Mrs. Anna Olson, Story City; Mrs. Ed Anderson, Graettinger; and Joe Omundson, Emmetsburg.
