DIED--At the hour of 7:30 Friday evenieng Miss Violet Brooks died at the residence of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Brooks at the age of 23 years, and 2 months. She was born in Wisconsin and cam with her parents to this city when some ten years of age and has lived here. She was a member of the Luthern church and the last services were under the direction of Rev. Sanford from the Lutheran church on Sabbath afternoon, the other ceremonies being under th direction of the Rebekkak order of which she was an honored member. The floral offerings were fine and the turn out by the members of the Nevada school of which whe was a graduate, was good, and all were reluctant to know that her young life had at this early time been snapped asunder. The attendance upon the service was quite large both at the church and the grave.
