Miss Rose Murphey received a telegram shortly after noon today which brought the sad intelligence that, Walter, the thirteen year old son of Mr. and Mrs. E. Bordwell of Elk, Washington, had died this morning. The little one was out coasting Wednesday and received injuries which resulted in death this morning. The family formerly lived in Hartington, Neb., and had only recently moved out west. Mrs. Bordwell sho spent her girlhood days in Nevada will be remembered as Sophia Murphey, the youngest daughter of Mrs. H. F. Murphey. She and three of the children spent some time in Nevada last summer but Walter who has been so suddenly taken from them remained with his grandparents at Storm Lake and did not visit in Nevada. The many Nevada friends of the Murphey family extend their heartfelt sympathy to them in this sudden grief.
