From Story County Watchman February 12, 1904

Nevada relatives received word the first of the week that W. F. Boyd of Newton, had died Monday after an illness of one week with pneumonia and heart trouble. Mr. Boyd is well known to Nevada people, being a brother of the late George Boyd of our city and John Boyd of Crookston, Minnesota. Mrs. George Boyd left Wednesday morning to attend the funeral services which were held at Newton yesterday.
