Mrs. E. F. Briggs received word a few days since announcing the death of her mother, Mrs. N. H. Dierks, of Mason City, Ill. She had been in failing health for some time and the announcement was not unexpected.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: "Mrs. E. F. Briggs" was Elizabeth Lucinda Dierkes, wife of Edgar Franklin Briggs.
