Zearing Enterprise: ....William Carl Maronda was born in Bonin, Germany, March 28, 1858. He came to America when three years of age, with his parents, first to Illinois and then to Iowa, where he resided until his death....

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: According to his death record, William Maronda died in Cedar Rapids, Linn County, Iowa 17 July 1903. He was buried in Zearing, Story County, Iowa.
