DIED.--Mrs. Emma Wencle* died at the home of her brother Chas. near Emmettsburg on the 23d inst., and the remains were laid to rest in the Nevada cemetery yesterday. The remains were accompanied by her father Adam Wencle* and brother Chas. She was born in Cedar county and was aged 26 years and 5 months. At an early age she was married to Mr. Benicker* from whom she was divorced and resumed her maiden name. She leaves no children.

*SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Emma Wentzel married John Bernicker November 30, 1898 in Story County, Iowa. They were divored August 28, 1899 also in Story County, Iowa. Emma's father was Adam Wentzel.
