The nine year old daughter of Dr. Homer C. Stuntz who went from Mt. Vernon last fall to Manilla to take charge of the Methodist mission, has just died in that far off land and was burried in the military cemetery set apart for the burial of American soldiers. This daughter was born in India, while Mr. Stuntz was missionary in tha country. Mr. Stuntz was at one time a resident of Nevada, his brother* representing Story county for two terms in the legislature about 15 to 18 years ago.--Boone Standard.
