Obituary.

Mr. George H. Proctor died about 6:00 o'clock Thursday evening, April 2, 1903, at his home in this city. Mr. Proctor had been ill only since Tuesday evening when he was stricken with a stroke of appoplexy and rendered helpless and speechless.

Mr. Proctor was born Feb. 10, 1855, in Hamilton, Ontario, in the year 1859 he moved to Illinois, and in 1876 removed to Iowa where he has since resided. On October 23, 1880, he was married to Miss Calista Hoskins and for some time lived on a farm near Nevada but for a number of years have been residents of this city.

Mr. Proctor leaves a wife, seven children and two brothers to mourn his loss. He was a good man, a kind and loving husband and father, and a friend to all who knew him. The funeral will be held at the Presbyterian church on Sunday afternoon at 2:00.
