Bendlage.

Mrs. Mary Agnes West-Bendlage, wife of Theodore H. Bendlage, of 511 East Linn street died at 5:45 o'clock this morning after a two weeks illness with typhoid fever. Mrs. Bendlage has been very ill from the start, and for the past few days her condition has been extremely critical. Mrs. Bendlage wasw born Kingston, Ont., Feb. 1, 1862, and ws married to Mr. Bendlage at Nevada on June 26, 1883. After their marriage they resided at Lincoln, Neb., for seven years, and came to Marshalltown in May, 1894. Mrs. Bendlage was a devout christian and a member of St. Mary's church, in which she was an active worker, expecially in the Ladies' Mite Society. She was loved by a wide circle of friends, who will exceedingly regret her death.--T. R. of Feb. 20th.
