Asa Mead, one of the old settlers of Richland township, died at his residence on Monday. He had been a resident of this county for many years and stood high in the esteem of his neighbors and all with whom he had dealings. The funeral was held under the direction of Rev. Caldwell on Wednesday at the local church.
