From Story County Watchman December 5, 1902

Word was received this morning that Chas. A. Paddock died at his home in Union, Oregon, on the 26th of November, at the age of 65 years and 10 months, at the home of his son Frank. He was considerably acquainted at this point and his friends will be sorry for the end having been reached at this time.
