McCallsburg.
Our friend and neighbor, Oscar Reid, passed away last Tuesday morning. Mr. Reid has been a citizen and business man of this town for many years, being in the hardware business with his brother Howard until about a year ago when he sold out to his brother on account of ill health. He has suffered much in the past year, his health gradually failing until that which somes to us all sooner or later. Death's change from Life's toils and struggles to a sweet and happy rest.
Mr. Reid was well and favorably known both far and near. He leaves a wife, two children, a mother, and one brother. All extend their sympathy to the bereaved family.
