Colo.

Mrs. Jerry L. Fleming died at her home in Hoxie, Mahaska county, last week and the remains were brought to Colo for interment Sunday. She was formerly Miss Bertha A. Harding, and was aged 19 years, 7 months and 12 days, and was born in New Albany township. She was one of our bright Story county girls and all sincerely mourn her loss.

Our community was greatly shocked Friday afternoon on receiving the sad news of that Mrs. Bertha Fleming had died early in the morning of heart failure at Bussey, Marshall county, Ia. The remains were brought to Colo and the funeral held Sunday at 11 o'clock at the Methodist church, and interment took place in the Colo cemetery.
