Slater News: ....Last Monday at the noon hour occurred the death of Lars Thompson at his residence in town....

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: WPA Records show Lars Thompson was born 20 Feb 1830 and died 25 Aug 1902. He was buried in the Bethlehem Cemetery, Story County, Iowa.
