Collins Liberator: ....Geo. McGibbon died at his home seven miles northwest of town last evening afer a long illness....

Last week George McGibbon died at his residence in New Albany township, aged 66 years, two months and fourteen days. He was one of the older settlers of this county and as such well known to the great majority of our people. He was a native of New York but came early to this county and stood high in the esteem of all.
