OBITUARY--Miss Annie Eliza Kersey was born August 10, 1871, departed this life June 13, 1902 aged 30 years, 10 months and 3 days. Was converted unto God in 1896 and united with the M. E. church at Pleasant Grove, Iowa, and two years later was sanctified wholly and lived in the fulness of the gospel of the Son of God until called home.

Her disease was consumption and although a great sufferers was never heard to complain she was patient in all her sickness and completely reconciled to the will of God.

She leaes a widowed mother, four brothers and four sisters to mourn her loss. Her father departed life about twelve years ago.

The funeral sermon was preached by Rev. D. J. Bunce, of Nevada, Iowa, Rev. Isaac Ellis leading in prayer, and the Misses Grace and May Ellis, Misters Ellis and Bishop furnishing the singing. The remains were laid to rest in the Nevada cemetery to await the call of the resurrection morning.
