Kansas City, May 27.--Frank Robinson, of Nevada, Iowa killed a beautiful young girl with whom he was in love, fatally shot her suitor, who was his rival and then fired a bullet into his own breast. He will die. The tragedy occurred about 8 o'clock last evening. The dead girl's name was Gertrude Rawlins and had been Robinson's sweetheart. Albert P. Ferguson, whom Robinson also shot had supplanted him in the girl's affections. A note previously written by the author of the cirme to his aged mother revealed the motive for the rash act.
He is the son of H. G. Robinson and wife of this city and they were duly informed of this difficulty, and are today receiving the sympathy of their many friends in this hour of trouble. Like many another boy he was inclined to be headstrong and hard to manage thinking he knew best what was what and this has been the result. We are not advised as to what will be done in the premises.
