Zearing Enterprise: ....Mrs. John P. Rogers passed away about one o'clock last night. The funeral will be held from the house Sunday at 2 p. m. under the direction of the Masons....

John P. Rogers died at his home in Zearing Friday night at 11 o'clock after an illness of two years resulting from losing an eye while shoeing a horse. Blood poisoning set in when the eye was removed. Mr. Rogers has been able to do some light work and thought he was getting well but a few days ago was taken worse and he did not rally. He was be buried Sunday at 2 o'clock under the direction of the Masonic lodge at that place.
