From Story County Watchman April 18, 1902

Maxwell Tribune: ....Thomas Densmore, southeast of town, died very suddenly Monday. According to report he had hitched to his buggy and was going to his son's home who lives not far away and as he was going by Mr. Jackson's place, stopped for a short talk with Messrs. Jackson and Borts who were by the roadside. Mr. Densmore remarked that his heart hurt him and just then he fell forward and was picked up dead....
