From Story County Watchman January 24, 1902

Story City Messenger: ....Mrs. Ole Maland of McCallsburg died last Wednesday and buried yesterday. Mrs. Maland was a daughter of Mrs. Opstvdt at Roland*. She leaves an infant babe and another child to be cared for by her husband.

*SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Isabel (Opstvedt) Maland was the daughter of Sjur Opstvedt and Ingeborg (Ness) Opstvedt.
