Maxwell Tribune: J. D. Ford, aged fifty-eight years, died at the home of his newphew, J. W. Hoffman, south of town....

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: John William Huffman (I have also seen him listed as William J. Huffman) and his wife, Ida (Huntsberger) Huffman lived in Washington Twp., Polk County, Iowa. Mr. Huffman was the son of David S. Huffman and Rachel (Ford) Huffman, Rachel being a sister of John D. Ford. The Fords and Huffmans lived in Harrison County, Ohio where David and Rachel married.
