Story City Herald: ....The sad news of Andrew Larson's death was reported on our streets Thursday; he having died on the night previous. Mr. Larson had reached the old age of 3 score and 10 years, and had been a victim of very poor health for some time past.

Story City Herald: ....Andrew Larson was born in Denmark, on the third day of April 1831 and came to this country in 1864. His death occured on Wednesday night at 11 o'clock on April 17th and was buried on Saturday, April 20th, 1901, from the St. Petri church at this place. He was 70 years 15 days old and leaves a wife and 8 children to mourn their loss....
