Geo. W. Jones and wife, Tuesday, were called to Newton by the death of W. A. Loomis, who died on Monday at quite an advanced age and will be there several days attending to rites and looking into matters in general.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: George W. Jones was married to Jemima (Dawson) Jones. She was the daughter of John William Dawson and Mary (Loomis) Dawson. William Almon Loomis was the son of William Herrick Loomis and Cynthia (Loomis) Loomis. Cynthia and Mary Loomis (daughters of Daniel Loomis and Sarah (Olmstead) Loomis) were sisters making Jemima (Dawson) Jones and William Almon Loomis first cousins.
