Ames Intelligencer: ....Miss Norma Read passed away yesterday at 5:50 p. m. afer a week and a half of illness. The funeral will be held at 2:30 at the home Friday afternoon.

This column last week noted the serious illness of Miss Norma Reed while the inside pages noted the death of the lady named and other particulars as given by the Ames papers. The sympathy of all our people are hereby extended the bereaved family in this their hour of affliction, trusting that they may look to that source on high for consolation and guidance in the future.
