Friday night Wm. Reynard died at the Story county poor house at the advanced age of 60 years. He has been ill for some time and the end was not unexpected. He came to this county at an early day and 30 and more years ago was one of the noted characters of the county living at Walnut Grove. All the old residents will remember him and may have wondered what had become of him, but this explains all. The last rites were held Saturday and the remains were laid the rest at the Walnut Grove cemetery to await the last call. Thus one by one the old pioneers of Story county answers to the roll call at the end.
