Ames Watchman.

Mrs. E. C. Holmes* died at her home in this city Monday night and the remains were laid to rest the next morning, of what is called by some the small pox, but in fact a complication of two or more diseases. She was a lady who stood high with her friends here an will be greatly missed by them. She leaves a husband and children to mourn her loss, and to await the joining in a future land.
