Colo Watchman.

Monday while looking after his work Eugene McCarthy fell dead upon the track of the Northwestern railway where he was superintendent of a large number of men just east of here. The body was brought to Colo and Coroner Mills notified, who pronounced it a case of heart failure. Arrangements were made for shipment of the body to Des Moins to the medical college, but objections were raised and the residents here led by Messrs. McCoy and Kiser raised from the men and citizens the amount requisite to give the body burial and it was interred in the cemetery east of town Wednesday evening.
