Wednesday afternoon Saml. Wright died at his home in the second ward aged 84 years. His wife had been quite low form some time but still survives him. The family came to this city several years since from Bremer county and have been among our most repectable citizens. He leaves a family of grown up children to mourn his loss.

Samuel Wright an aged and respected citizen whose sudden death was chronicled last week was buried Wednesday, April 25. Funeral services were conducted at the house by Rev. A. B. Shrader and were attended by a large number of relatives and friends, Mr. Wright was born in Vermont Aug. 28th, 1816, and was for 50 years a resident of Iowa. Ten children were born to him all of which survive him but one. Early in life he united with the church and remained faithful. His wife has the sympathy of a large circle of friends in her sorrow.
